John was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Award for Mathematics and Science in 1999, and subsequently held executive management roles in Edenred (EPA: EDEN), Siemens (ETR: SIE), GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK), Transitions by EssilorLuxottica (EPA: EL), JohnPaul by ACCORHOTELS (EPA: AC), and  McDonalds Corp (NYSE: MCD). Over the past two decades, John has co-founded of seven FinTech, industrial robotics and automotive companies.

In recent years, John built a rewards solutions company serving enterprise clients that was acquired by one of the largest loyalty enablement companies in the world. He also built the Asian business of a customer engagement company that was acquired by AccorHotels in 2016.

John has built customer acquisition and loyalty programmes for several of Singapore’s largest banks and insurers, and helmed the deployment of several major government-initiated public-facing engagement programmes.
